THE 3 C’S OF CHANGE
Clarity. Confidence. Conviction.
Change requires more than information.
Three internal capacities often determine whether insight becomes action.
Clarity
Clarity means seeing accurately.
What is happening?
What are you feeling?
What are you avoiding?
What is fact?
What is interpretation?
What do you actually want?
What do you already know, but do not want to admit?
Clarity removes fog.
Without clarity, energy scatters.
With clarity, you can begin making conscious choices.
Confidence
Confidence is not certainty that everything will work.
It is trust in yourself.
Trust that you can make a decision.
Trust that you can learn.
Trust that you can make a mistake without destroying yourself.
Trust that you can meet uncertainty.
Trust that you can recover.
Confidence makes movement possible,
because you no longer require the outside world
to guarantee the outcome before you begin.
Conviction
Conviction is where your internal debate begins to settle.
Clarity says, “I see.”
Confidence says, “I trust myself.”
Conviction says, “I choose.”
Conviction means that you are standing behind what you know strongly enough to live it consistently.
It is not rigidity.
You can still learn and change direction.
But you stop renegotiating your deepest decisions every time that discomfort appears.
How the 3 C’s Work With the 6 Steps
These two frameworks naturally support one another.
Clarity helps you to take responsibility and accept what is actually happening.
Confidence grows as you collect evidence and begin seeing that change is possible.
Conviction strengthens as new beliefs are repeated and embodied.
The final Six Steps then move beyond thinking into identity:
Know who you are.
Be and do who you are.
Together they create a movement from
Seeing → Trusting → Choosing → Becoming.
